These terms apply when you enable Straight² online features, including Best-Time Challenges, private Live Multiplayer rooms, secure online progression and the Community Skin Store.
Do not manipulate race times, ghosts, live-room state, progression claims, Store balances or network requests; falsify results/currency; impersonate users; interfere with moderation; or abuse/overload the service. Straight² may reject implausible submissions, remove a participant from a room, hide/remove suspicious content, or restrict access when needed.
Straight² has no chat/direct messages. A public Runner name selected in the game may be displayed with country, race results and Store listings. A synced PB includes race-result information and a compact ghost/runner appearance that other players may download to race against.
Live Multiplayer lets a player create an unlisted 2–8 runner room and share a six-character invitation code. The creator is initially the host and can configure the supported distance/capacity, start when connected runners are ready, remove a participant in the lobby and start rematches. Host control may transfer if the host leaves or loses the session.
During a room session, the service relays lobby state, runner identity/appearance data (including the selected painted/custom skin payload when used), connection/load/readiness state, synchronized start timing, compact movement/race state and finish/DQ results. Brief network interruptions may freeze a runner while reconnection is attempted; prolonged interruptions can remove the runner. Rooms are casual and unranked. A room code is an invitation mechanism, not a password/security secret.
For online Store use, race reward claims are checked by the server and the server maintains the spendable Store coin balance. The phone does not provide a trusted coin-balance number during purchase. 1000 server-recorded XP can be exchanged for 1 in-game coin. Coins/XP have no cash value.
You may publish a custom painted runner skin with a short title and price of 1–8 coins. Other players may browse, purchase and download visible skins. Buyers may not re-sell another creator's exact Store skin as their own. Listings can be reported/hidden/removed. A successful sale credits only in-game coin value to the original creator's server wallet; it creates no cash entitlement.
Server checks reduce obvious manipulation but do not make every client-generated race cheat-proof. Best-Time Challenges and private Live Multiplayer are intended for casual competition, not prize-bearing verified competition.
The online service is best-effort and may be unavailable. Offline Solo play remains available. Live-room state is temporary rather than a persistent room history. In-game controls allow disabling sync and requesting deletion of uploaded challenge/Store account data. See the Straight² Privacy Policy.
